What is Racism
Racism is the belief that characteristics and abilities can be attributed to people simply on the basis of their race and that some racial groups are superior to others. The problem is, people think they are greater than someone of a different race. Most is just carless thinking because people don't think before they act or say somrthing most of the time they don't mean. Racial descrimination still exist in todays socity, despited the efforts to try and stop it.
Causes of Racism/ Racial Issues
Political corruption, lack of respect for rule of law, human rights violations are all common reasons heard for some of the causes of Africa’s problems. Ignorance of other cultures, religions, and values. Fear of sharing power with other groups of people
Effects of Racism
Black people in general were taken from decent education and health care, housing, jobs and from places of worship. The long-lasting effects of the various racial policies should not be underestimated. For example the 1913 Land Act declared that 87 percent of the land would belong to 13 percent of the population and effectively prevented blacks from buying land.
Solution
Many people say that the solution to racism is to have a new level of thinking, if people stopped thinking that there is a "dominant" race we could all live in peace.
“The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.” Albert Einstein
Conclusion
Sometimes we have to take matters into our own hands to help try stop racial profiling. Racism is always going to exist, there will never be such thing as a perfect socity. We my not be able to stop racism, but we can always help decrease it.
