A Note From Mrs. Jackson
PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Support. This week we taught students our behavior expectations in the common areas of our school. We expect students to be safe, respectful and responsible no matter what part of the building they are in. We also learned a fun new word: KAHFOOTY. This means Keep All Hands Feet and Other Objects To Yourself. We were impressed to see students putting what they learned into practice!
We also celebrated our fundraiser top sellers. Students that 20 or more items got to go on a limo ride and get a donut at Yummy's. Mrs. Bishop and I had a great time celebrating with these students. Thank you for supporting Hannah Cole!
Have a great weekend!
Tennis Shoe Reminder
Just a reminder that if students wear rain or snow boots to school, they also need to bring tennis shoes. It is hard for students to run in boots in PE and on the playground. Shoes that do not tightly secure on their foot can easily fly off and hit others when students are running. Our school nurse does not have extra shoes that fit every student. Thank you for helping to keep everyone safe by sending your child with appropriate shoes.
