Influenctial Painter and Sculpter of the 20th century
Accomplishments:
Picasso was a very influential painter during the cubism era of painting.
Picasso has many great paintings, but some of his greatest works are; "The Old Guitarist", "Seated Woman", and "Les Demoiselles d’Avignon".
Life in Paris:
At the turn of the 20th century Paris was the center of the art world. Picasso moved there and set up his own art studio in 1904. Picasso's artistic career is divided up into 3 groups. First came the "Blue Period", where Picasso's paintings were sad and painted with a dark blue. Then came the "Rose Period", where Picasso's paintings became more colorful and vibrant. Then came Picasso's "Cubism" phase, where Picasso's paintings became very abstract.
