Notes from Gina
Next week we are excited to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! Never before have our teachers been so challenged. We are navigating a global pandemic and, most recently, a proposal for future Middle School Boundary changes. Our teachers are giving their very best and navigating beautifully. In honor of Teacher Appreciation, the students had the opportunity to write notes to teachers during their lunchtime. The letters will be delivered next week. We are always grateful for the support and love our community gives the school. See below if you are looking for ways to celebrate our amazing teachers.
If you were not able to attend the Middle School Boundary Proposal seminar this past Tuesday, the meeting was recorded, and the topics included were:
- More information based on the questions and feedback the district is receiving.
- Time to answer questions from parents and staff during the meeting
- More discussion of the high school impact of any boundary change. The district proposed the students from Pierremont attend West High School.
We know many questions and concerns remain. You can keep updated on district communications, view recorded webinars, and submit questions or concerns through the Parkway website here. Also, never hesitate to reach out to me by phone at 314-415-6601 or email.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend and get to enjoy some quality time!
