Benefits of Protein
There are multiple benefits to the nutrient called protein. One of the benefits is it can support your bones so that you could move your joints. Another benefit is it can improve muscle mass and it produces lean tissue. Third is it is good for your skin. Fourth is it can made you less hungrier and it can reduce your calorie intake. Fifth is you can lose belly fat. Sixth is it surprisingly reduces blood pressure. Seventh is it can make you sleep better. Last but not least, you can recover from injury faster. The funny part is your hair and nails are mostly made out of protein so if you want nails and want to have a nice hairstyle, you should be having the correct amount of protein that is needed for the body daily. The daily limit is 5.5 ounces for kids, 56 grams for men, and 46 grams of protien for women daily.
There are many different types of vitamins with varying benefits. Some help you heal and keep your teach and bums healthy(Vitamin C), some help your eyes and skin(Vitamin A), while others help you build strong bones(Vitamin D).
While it is easy to take in water through the tap, your body actually gains more water from foods, since this water has more helpful nutrients in it rather than things such as led found in tap water.
While it is extremely obvious that you can get a lot of water from a watermelon since water is in the name, watermelon is especially good for staying hydrated since it contains liquids easily. Plus, the water from a watermelon is full of healthy nutrients needed for the body to not become malnourished!
Cucumbers (which can also be pickles if they go through a certain process) are extremely good for hydrating the human body. They are full of water, and are easily able to give the body what it needs.
Celery is a vegetable that has water constantly transporting through the inside of it, much like bamboo (also a great source of water). It is clean and fills the plant by traveling through its “veins.” As the other examples, the nutrients in this water is healthy for the body.
When you are eating fats there are two types one is saturated fats which has trans fatty acid and bad for your health while the other is unsaturated fats which is way better for your health. When you eat fats it can help your body absorb, or take in certain vitamins and have a healthy skin. The body also uses the fats we eat for energy and fats contain the most energy than any other nutrient.
You can find Heart healthy fats in avocados, olives, nuts, seeds, and etc.
Minerals help the human body grow and develop. They are important to our growth and survival because some minerals assist, with making your bones and muscles stronger, allows your body to have fresh, clean, and healthy blood, and the keep your bodily systems functioning. There are two types of minerals: Major Minerals and Trace Minerals. Below are some Minerals, examples of these minerals, and what they do for you.
Calcium: Calcium is a Major Minerals, and it helps with nerve functions, and decreases blood clotting. Examples of Calcium are cheese, yogurt, leafy greens, etc.
Potassium: Helps your heart and muscles to contract, and regulates fluids and mineral balance going in and out of the body.
Sodium: Helps your heart and muscles to relax, helps to regulate blood pressure. Examples: Chips.
