WVUSD is NOT responsible for any damage or theft of the vehicle, this includes any articles left in it.

Do you need a Chromebook for the School Year?

District owned Chromebooks are made available for checkout to students who choose not to bring their own device to school.

All students checking out a device will be expected to return the following WHS DEVICE AGREEMENT FOR STUDENTS to Mr. Wendland with their signature and the signature of a parent or guardian. Students will not receive a Chromebook until they return the signed form.

Students who checked out devices during the period of Distance Learning and Summer School are expected to return those devices. No other device will be checked out until those are returned.

Important Nutrition Services Update

AB 130 Universal State Meal Mandate - Breakfast and Lunch will be provided at “no cost” this coming school year at all sites. Nutrition services are asking to fill out a meal application this year. Meal applications are NOT required to get the FREE meals.

Students do NOT have to take the meals, they can bring their own meals from home.

Approved meal applications help increase district funding and help households with discounts on various products and services but are NOT required to get FREE meals.

2022-2023 Rules & Expectations at Walnut High School

During summer registration, students and their guardians watched the rules and expectations video for the upcoming school year. If you did not have a chance to watch it, please take a minute to view the video to help you be successful this year!

Parents: One thing you will notice this year are tardy or cell phone detention automated emails. If your child was issued a detention for excessive tardies or a cell phone violation, you will get an email with information on the detention they need to serve.
