TempleASA Newsletter

Greetings TempleASA members!

We hope all is well and that you're getting enough sleep with midterm fever! While your schedule starts cramming, we want to remind you of our Last GBM- "What Kind of Asian are You?", Community Outreach Program, and Sakura Sunday Volunteering!

"Bruno Mars. Kina Grannis. Bruce Lee. Aziz Ansari. Lucy Liu. Harry Shum, Jr. Michelle Kwan. Jay Park."

As artists, sports figures, and icons, they all have one thing in common and that is an Asian Heritage.

For our last general body meeting of the semester, we will be exploring the Asian-American Identity. If you've ever had any questions, thoughts, experiences about this identity, this is the meeting for you. Through comedy, spoken word, entertainment, and media, we hope to bring our community closer together with this discussion. We'll also be having lots of games, free giveaways, and special guests that you don't want to miss!

The program will explore and take you to Philadelphia's various banquets/fundraisers/elderly care homes/youth programs to inform and educate the APA community about beneficial government resources such as the language access card, voter registration form in multiple languages, and public school enrollment information for immigrants with children.
