2. Students who are learning virtually for at least 5 consecutive days and are eligible for free or reduced-price meals are eligible to receive a P-EBT benefits this fall. If you received a P-EBT benefit this past spring or summer, the new benefit will be automatically added to your card. It is not necessary to contact the school about this benefit. All eligible students will be submitted for benefits by the school division. Benefits will be issued between September 30 and October 15, 2020.You will not be able to redeem the food benefits, nor can you transfer the card to someone else. Monday, Sept 28:

-Library on Wheels- The WGMS Library will be giving away free books on the Library Book Deliveries Bus! Look out for books you can read and keep. There will be some new fiction titles, some from the Library Book Club and Café Booklists, and some new nonfiction titles. See the Library Bus Delivery schedule above for places and times.

-Interim Reports will be mailed out. Interim grades reflect the student’s progress on assignments as of September 22nd, 2020. Make-up work will be accepted through the end of the first quarter.

-7:00 p.m. Recognition of W-GMS Youth of Virginia Speak Out (YOVASO) Club for winning the YOVASO award for outstanding traffic safety initiatives during the 2019-2020 school year! Deep Cleaning Days

-Wednesdays: School offices are closed every Wednesday, however, we will be available by email or phone call from remote locations.

-Fridays: The district closes at 2 p.m.

LAPS Due the week of October 12, 2020

· Mondays: Spanish, French and Career and Technical Education (CTE)

· Tuesdays: English and Physical Education/Health ​

· Wednesdays: Science and Art ​

· Thursdays: History ​

· Fridays: Math and Music

LAPS are due at 11:59pm of the corresponding day. The next LAP will be posted, the school day following the LAP due date (i.e. LAP 1 for English is due September 22, LAP 2 will post September 23)​

* 9 weeks courses (ie. Exploring cultures) may need to adjust due dates at the end of the quarter
