From Mrs. Berical

Dear Families,

A sincere thank you to all of the families who participated in our Home and School meeting on Tuesday night! Your presence and service is greatly appreciated. We are thrilled to have reported such a successful Skyview Strong fundraiser. Thank you to all families who contributed any amount to this fundraiser as it will help provide many positive opportunities and experiences to our Skyview students.

Skyview was excited to cheer on our Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday afternoon! Our students did a fantastic job spelling out, "Go Phillies" as a school community! Helicopters from Fox 29, ABC 6 and NBC 10 flew over Skyview to take our picture for local news coverage! We worked together as a team to show our support to the Philadelphia Phillies and we wish them well in the World Series!

On Thursday, our Skyview students had the opportunity to participate in the Harlem Wizards virtual assembly. The Harlem Wizards will play a live game on Monday, November 7th at the high school against the Methacton faculty! Come cheer us on as you will see faculty from Skyview playing in the game- including Mrs. Berical!

Have a wonderful fall weekend!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Berical

Cafeteria

If your child is getting a school breakfast or lunch, it is important that they have their student ID ready to use when they go through the cafeteria line. Having the ID ready speeds up the process of moving through the line. Please remind your child to bring their ID to school each day and to have it easily accessible at breakfast and lunch.

In addition, please remind your child that appropriate behavior is expected in the cafeteria. Manners such as saying please and thank you, throwing trash away and cleaning their space after they are finished eating is expected. We greatly appreciate you discussing these expectations with your child so that we can work together to provide a more pleasurable dining experience.

Lost and Found

Our Lost and Found in the Skyview main lobby is becoming quite full! Please encourage your child to take a look while passing through the lobby to ensure they do not have any items that belong to them. In addition, parents are welcome to look through the lost and found during parent conferences on Monday and Tuesday.
