Definition of a hurricane
is a tropical storm with winds that have reached speed of 74 miles an hour or more. Eye of the storm usually 20-30 miles wide and may be 400 miles wide.
What causes this storm?
is a low pressure system that forms over warm water im summer and early fall. Water vapor is the fuel for the massive storms.
effects: storm surge, heavy rainfall, high winds, tornadoes, rip tides, floods, property damage.
Locations
New Jersey (shore line) beaches are still destroyed and homes demolished new beach zone.
