PRINCIPAL LINSKI NOTES - Week of November 20, 2023
Dear ISAAC Families,
We hope this letter finds you well and ready to enjoy a well-deserved Thanksgiving break. We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming support and generosity shown during our Thanksgiving Day Drive. Thanks to your contributions, we are delighted to share that we will be able to provide complete Thanksgiving meals for 15 families in need this holiday season.
Your commitment to making a positive impact in our community is truly heartwarming, and we want to thank each and every one of you for your participation. The spirit of giving at ISAAC is a testament to our strong and compassionate community. In addition, thank you to our ISAAC PTO for their hard work in donating all of the 15 Turkeys!
As a reminder, this Wednesday will be an early dismissal day, with school ending at 12:15 pm. Additionally, there will be no school on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving break. After-school activities will only be held on Monday and Tuesday this week. If your child is involved in any after-school programming, please ensure they are picked up promptly at 5:00 pm.
Once again, thank you for your continued support and for making a difference in the lives of our fellow community members. Wishing you a joyous and restful Thanksgiving with your loved ones.

ISAAC Middle School Makes History with Visit from State Representatives
New London, CT - ISAAC Middle School witnessed a historic day as it played host to numerous state representatives who gathered to discuss the remarkable achievements of the school. The event was graced by a surprise visit from Governor Ned Lamont, adding to the significance of the occasion.
Among the distinguished guests were Representative Andrea Bumgardner, Senator Douglas McCrory, Representative Jeff Currey, Representative Kathleen McCarty, Representative Mark DeCaprio, Senator Heather Somers, and Representative Anthony Nolan. The bipartisan discussion primarily focused on the school's ambitious plans for expansion, aiming to provide new educational opportunities for students in and around New London County.
The highlight of the visit was Governor Lamont's tour of the school's new classrooms and the innovative Aquarium Science program. The representatives expressed admiration for ISAAC's dedication to academic excellence and its commitment to creating a positive learning environment for students.
ISAAC Middle School continues to make strides in education, and the visit from these esteemed state representatives is a testament to the school's significant impact on the community. The discussions held during this visit set the stage for a promising future as ISAAC looks forward to expanding its reach and enriching the educational experience for its students.

DINE AND DANCE IS HERE!
Dine & Dance event is the first of 3 ISAAC will hold this year. Mrs. Amanda Grundy will lead 21CCLC after school parents and families in specific dance instruction. In addition, Dinner will be provided from one of our family owned local restaurants. Start Time 6:00 pm - End Time: 8:00 pm... After School Families interested should RSVP here.
