Saturday School & Monday Detention

The schedule has been moved to our Google Drive. You must be logged in using your jordanms. org account. You can view the weekly schedule to see if you have a student scheduled to attend. The baskets to leave student work are in the mailroom. If you are scheduled to work, please make sure to check the schedule to see if any students are scheduled to attend. Guidelines for each are posted on the training page under student discipline.

First Quarter Celebration

We will provide our students with a walk & talk celebration at the end of the nine weeks. Ms. Williams is preparing an informational sheet to be shared with teachers and students. The basic criteria for participation will be: C average in all classes, C average or higher on district assessments, and no discipline referrals. Every teacher has the option to use a "teacher invitation" to include students who have shown improvement. More details will be forthcoming.

eSPLOST: November 3, 2015

Voting in Gwinnett County for eSPLOST will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Please feel free to arrive by 8:40 AM, if you are going to a polling place prior to reporting to school. If you have students scheduled for Tuesday tutoring, please let them know if you will be arriving late.

Personal Leave

Just a quick reminder that personal leave is to be requested at least two weeks prior to requested absence. Please make sure to reference the personal leave days not allowed in the JMS handbook and on the JMS Training Page.

Coke Rewards

We are a Coke Rewards school, so save your bottle tops and carton tops from the 12 packs. It is easy, you can drop off your items in a collection box located in the cafe and mailroom. Or, you can make an account and donate your points to Jordan MS!

Box Tops for Education

Our Care Team supports students in need. At this point, we are extremely limited in our direct support to students, as funding is through donations and fundraising. You can donate $0.10 each time you cut out a Box Top and drop it in our collection box. It is easy and adds up quickly! Please encourage your students and families to support this fundraiser. We have collection boxes in each grade level office and the mailroom.
