YOU MATTER & SO DOES YOUR ATTENDANCE

Attendance Matters! Our goal at CES is to have every student in class on time every day! We love seeing our cougars learning and reaching their highest potential! We need your help! Please make sure your child arrives on time and ready to learn every morning. We do know that circumstances come up that require a student miss school, such as illness and or emergencies. Help us to stay informed, by following the correct procedures when your student is out. Be sure to notify their teacher, and if needed reach out to the nurse.

Please click on the link below to view our FAQ page about attendance.

96% and HIGHER IS OUR GOAL

Our goal is to have more than 96% of our students present each day. Below is a chart of what our daily percentages were last week at CES. The best chance for student success is to be present all day every day! Students who are present all day every day will receive a prize ticket each Friday during lunch. The prize ticket can be "cashed in" the following Tuesday.

TECHNOLOGY ON CAMPUS

Elementary Student Supplementary Handbook: Crosby ISD believes technology is a powerful tool that enhances learning and enables students to access a vast amount of academic resources. The District's goal is to increase student access to digital tools and facilitate immediate access to technology-based information, much the way that students utilize pen and paper. All students, PreK-5th grade, are required to bring their district issued IPAD to school fully charged with the charger every day to school. Students using district issued telecommunication devices must follow the guidelines stated in the handbook while on school property, attending any school-sponsored activity, or using the Crosby ISD network. Students at the elementary level are not allowed to use personal devices at school. These electronics include but are not limited to: cell phones, smartwatches, tablets, games and the like. If a student brings a personal device to school, it must be turned off and remain in their backpack. Any personal electronics used at school will be taken up and must be retrieved by a parent.
