Hour of Code
Heritage is joining the largest learning event in history!
Computer Science is for EVERYONE!
During the week of December 5-9, our Heritage Heroes will join a global movement of more than 100 million learners in 180 countries taking part in CREATING the technology that's changing our world.
Students in all grade levels will participate in computer coding activities and games using our laptops and iPads. Coding is fun - especially when you can program a game involving Angry Birds, Star Wars, Flappy Birds, Minecraft and the newest coding game on www.code.org based on the Disney movie "Moana".
Come join us!
Take a look at the short video below as well as the screen shots of some of the coding games. Looks like fun, doesn't it? It is! Go to www.code.org and give it a try!
Look below to find the schedule for our Hour of Code event the week of December 5-9. If you can come during your child's scheduled time, you'll not only have the opportunity to encourage students as they design computer programs, but you'll get to use code to design your own digital masterpieces!
