Game Schedule

December 11 - Girls at Liberty Middle; Boys vs. Liberty at Home

December 13 - All four teams vs. South Middle at Home

December 18 - Boys at Piney Grove; Girls vs. Piney Grove at Home

Come support our Panthers!

Access the complete basketball schedule HERE. Students are welcome to join us after school for home games. A game day permission slip is required. Students: $4 and Adults: $6 with concessions available.


For nights where there are two games, students must be picked up by 7:30pm. Students who are not picked up on time may be required to have a parent attend the game with them.

Restorative Circle Updates

As you know, students participate in a Restorative Circle with their teacher and a small group of students on Mondays during Flex Time. This week (Monday, December 9) students will discuss Empathy. This will be our final lesson wrapping up the acronym for PRIDE, our PBIS expectations.

I - Integrity

D - Determination

E - Empathy


To follow up on the Restorative Circle conversation with your student, talk to them about Empathy, and how we show Empathy to others. One of the topics they will discuss with their Circle is how it makes them feel to show Empathy or when Empathy is shown to them. It would be interesting to know how your student responds...

Lost & Found - Donated on Thursday, December 19

Lost and found is being collected and located in the front of the school. All unclaimed items will be donated on Thursday, December 19th.

Next 8th Grade Field Trip

Our second trip of the year is scheduled for February, 2020. We will visit Mercedes Benz Stadium, the National Center for Civil Rights, World of Coke, and Oakland Cemetery.

Panther Pit Stop - Annual Holiday Shop Coming Soon!

The Panther Pit Stop is bringing back theAnnual Holiday Shop. The Holiday Shop will have a variety of holiday gifts starting as low as $1. These gifts are perfect for students to purchase for their friends and family or for parents to get additional stocking stuffers. Some of our new items for the holiday season include festive earrings, silver rings and student made wooden ornaments, coasters or picture frames. The Panther Pit Stop is also having a t-shirt sale and all short sleeved shirts are only $10.

Community News

Screenagers Film Presented By Lambert Vertical Cluster

SCREENAGERS addresses the most pervasive parenting issue of our time head on—depicting teen struggles over social media, video games and internet addiction. The film empowers kids to best navigate the digital world and provides practical resources to help them do it.


The film will be shown at Lambert High School in the Cafeteria on Wednesday, January 15th. Please use the link below to register so that we can ensure that there is enough space for each viewing. The event is free.

Transition Information for Parents of 8th Grade Students

Out of District High School Information

Each high school in Forsyth County has specific programs and pathways that are offered. If your child has an interest in one of the pathways offered at a high school other than Lambert High School, you may find information about the process to request an Out of District approval here. Please note that requests are reviewed at the district level and do not guarantee acceptance. You may also visit the Riverwatch Counseling Page on our website for additional information.

Holiday House Giving Tree

Thank you to all those that have supported our Giving Tree efforts and those that are less fortunate. If you have not returned your donation please drop it off at the front office by Tuesday, December 10th.

8th Grade Dance

If you are interested in helping with the 8th Grade Dance, please email riverwatchmiddleptso@gmail.com. We are looking for many hands to make for light work.


The PTSO is accepting semi-formal dresses which will be used for a "swap n shop" in early spring in preparation for the dance.
