Holy Name Highlights
August 11, 2017
Note From The Principal's Desk
Greetings!
Well, we have made it through the first week of school! It has been great to get to see and meet the wonderful children you have entrusted to us! We had two wonderful school Masses and lots of practicing of classroom procedures! I know our amazing teachers have worked tirelessly to get the year started strong – and I am sure that your children have come home worn out after getting back into the groove of school! The 8th grade class had a big week – their retreat on Wednesday coupled with their Gold Shirt Ceremony brings them to their place as student-leaders of the school! I am sure that they will take that role to heart and be great role models for the rest of the school.
What a great week!

If your child arrives late to school, please have them or you tell Mr. Mitchell or Mrs. Beeson what their lunch choice is so that we can accurately prepare.

From the Desk of the Social Worker
I am excited to be back at Holy Name School for a wonderful new school year! I am here to assist your children with any problem they might be struggling with. Some examples of things I can help with are grief, anxiety, depression, peer conflicts, as well as separation or divorce related issues.
I will need your permission to see any student in grades Pre-K through 5th, unless there is an emergency, but students in the middle school may self-refer.
I will be at Holy Name on Thursday again this year.
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with you and your children!
