Words from our Nurse
We have gotten to a great start this school year in the health room. A few important reminders for our students and parents:
1. All students need to have a tDap vaccination prior to starting 7th grade. If you have not already done so, please send in your child's proof of their tDap vaccination. We will be sending out 30-day exemption letters this week for all those students that we do not have a record of their vaccination. This will give you 30-days to provide proof of the vaccination after which the student will not be able to attend classes until we have proof of the vaccination.
2. It is very important that students are doing a self-check on themselves before coming to school or school functions. Please check out Lexington-Richland School District 5's checklist to help you know what to look for. If you are not feeling well or meet any of the criteria on that symptom screening checklist, please do not come to school or school functions. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call the health room at 803-476-3609.
Counseling Corner
Check out this month's updates from the Counseling Corner. If you have any scheduling questions (questions/concerns about classes, inquires about changing classes, etc), please contact your student's guidance counselor.
