Welcome Back!
We want to thank you all for your patience and understanding as we have been working out all the kinks that come with virtual learning. Students, if you are still unable to log into SchoolsPLP or you are having any problems accessing your coursework, please email your teachers directly. Teachers will be able to get you the information you need and will relay details of technical issues to the appropriate person.
We are all in this TOGETHER, and we're going to make it a great year at Hazel Green High School!
Hazel Green High School Administration
Dr. Quinn Headen, Principal
Stacy Junjulas
Tausha Knight
Jennifer McKinney
We want to introduce our administration!
Dr. Quinn Headen is the principal of Hazel Green High School. Stacy Junjulas, Tausha Knight, and Jennifer McKinney are our three assistant principals.
You may notice that two of our assistant principals are new this year. Mrs. Stacy Junjulas was an assistant principal at HGHS two years ago and is back this year in her new role of Athletic Director. Mrs. Tausha Knight is also a familiar face at HGHS. Mrs. Knight was a teacher at HGHS a few years ago. We are so glad to have both of them back at HGHS!

Free Internet Access for Students in National School Lunch Program
If your student(s) is enrolled in the National School Lunch Program (Free/Reduced Lunch), be looking for a voucher in the mail for free internet access. The voucher should arrive to your address by the end of August.
The Alabama Broadband Connectivity for Students program will provide free internet access for eligible students who are enrolled in the National School Lunch Program through their schools. We are working to make the process as easy as possible for students who choose to participate.
If your student is enrolled in the National School Lunch Program through their school, you are already enrolled in the Alabama Broadband Connectivity for Students program. You will receive a prepaid voucher by U.S. mail by the end of August. Then all you’ll have to do is call the internet service provider of your choice, give them your voucher code, and sign up for service.
If you have recently moved, please call your school to update your address.
Daily Meals for Students
MCSS will provide meals Mon-Fri at every school during the 1st nine weeks. Families must pick up meals at the school where each of their students is enrolled.
Hazel Green High School will serve our students from 12:00-1:00 each day at the back of the school (our usual car rider line).
Students will receive a lunch and a cold breakfast for the next morning.
Students do not have to be in the vehicle during meal pickup. The student’s first & last name is required to pick up meals.
Meals will be placed in the trunk of each vehicle when possible. The goal is to provide touchless delivery.
Students will be charged for meals according to their eligibility (free, reduced, or full price). Prices for meals are:
Reduced: Breakfast($.30), Lunch($.40)
Full Price PK- 8: Breakfast($1.75), Lunch($2.25)
Full Price 9-12: Breakfast ($1.75), Lunch ($2.50)
