Explanation of 'A' and 'B' Days...
"A" days are Monday and Tuesday. "B" days are Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately, there is no way to name the actual courses "A" or "B", so we have used our class sections to note which kind of day each class is. When you look at a class in SIS or through Canvas, you will see there is a course name (usually a letter with four numbers behind it) and then a section (01, 02, 03, or 04). For the core classes (ELA, Math, Science, & Social Studies), sections 1 & 2 are "A" days. Sections 3 & 4 are "B" days.
So, on Mondays and Tuesday, students should access their Core classes by going to sections 1 & 2. On Thursday and Friday, they will go to their sections 3 & 4. This does not affect their elective classes. The sections do not mean anything special for electives. The elective teachers will communicate with students regarding their regular meeting times.
Wednesdays will have a different schedule and your child's teacher will explain how that will look.
Distance Learning students will not be assigned electives. They will only have their core classes and advisory.
