Special Marching Storm Update
Release Date: June 5
Parent, friend help needed
Best option: Sand blast the frame of the trailer to remove the outer layer of rust. If anyone knows someone who could sandblast the trailer by tomorrow night, please communicate with Mr. Campbell.
2nd best option: Wire brush the surface. We need to get in there and break away the top layer of rust as much as possible on the trailer frame. This can be done with a drill that has a wire brush attachment; a grinder with a wire brush attachment; or with a hand wire brush. Getting the majority of the rust off will help us get better results from the rust inhibitor.
So, any parent who is willing to help, we need the assistance tonight and tomorrow. Thank you.
Slippy Slide fun!
Students should bring swim suits to put on at 4:00 pm and their own towel. Remember, there will be residue from the paint, so use old swimsuits and old towels.
All students who get wet, will need to stay outside of the school. All students who get paint on them will need to stay outside of the school. The mess would be very difficult to clean up and probably not sit well with our custodians. Let's do our part to have fun, but be responsible!
