Preventing the Spread of Illness

As the weather changes, please help us prevent the spread of illness at Bryan Road by adhering to Wake County Public School System's guidelines and suggestions shared in the documents below.

Exhibition Night

Our first Exhibition Night was a hit! Many families came to Bryan Road to view their scholar's first quarter Project Based Learning (PBL) assignment. Project Based Learning is a hands-on approach to learning where scholars acquire a deeper understanding of content through active exploration of real-world challenges, problems, and application. Click the button below to view our first grade scholars' PBL assignment for quarter one!

Quarter 2 Behavior System

We want to be transparent with our positive behavior system here at Bryan Road! Please review the documents below to learn about our Quarter 2 Behavior Plan that will take affect on Monday, December 3!

Pajama Day!

It's SPIRIT DAY and we want YOU to join the fun! On Friday, December 7th, come to school cozy and snug in your pajamas! What a fun day it will be!

Cultural Arts Assembly

The Transit Vocal Band will visit Bryan Road on Friday, December 7 and perform for all of our scholars! They are such a talented group of acapella singers! With only 4 voices and no instruments, they create the most beautiful sound! Click here to learn more about them, and click the button below to view one of their live performances!

Baby It's Cold Outside!

The winter months are upon us and it's already chilly! Please make sure that your buccaneer comes to school dressed appropriately for the season. We want to ensure that our scholars are comfortable both inside and outside of the school building throughout the day. Thank you!

Lost & Found

Have your buccaneer's belongings gone missing? Come visit our overflowing lost and found! Simply sign in at the front office and walk down to the cafeteria to view the various pieces that have been left behind.

Reading Tutoring

Would your scholar (grades 2-6) benefit from additional support in reading? NC State's College of Education offers a wonderful tutoring program. See the flyer below for more information!

PTA Co-Chair Needed!

Our PTA is currently seeking a chair or co-chairs to help plan and implement our “Treasure Our Talent” talent show! The event is scheduled for March 14th.

Please email Aleesha Bake (PTA President) at if you are interested.

Kindness Tree

The holidays are just around the corner! This year, the Student Services Team is going to have a Clothing Drive to help support Note in the Pocket. Note in the Pocket is a non-profit agency that partners with Wake County Schools to provide free clothing to students in need. Because their inventory is solely based on donations, they are especially in need during the holiday season as a high number of referrals come to them. What a better way to give back to, not only our students, but all Wake County students than to help support this amazing agency?!

Bryan Road will have a holiday tree set up in the front foyer for donations to be put under. The Clothing Drive will run from Monday, November 26th through Thursday, December 6th. Some items may be kept at Bryan Road in case of student emergencies such as accidents, nose bleeds, etc.

The Clothing Drive is for any gender and all ages, as Note in the Pocket provides clothing to, not only students, but their families as well.

Please help your Bryan Road Student Services Team get in the holiday spirit by donating clothing this holiday season!
