Family Focus

This year we are taking more of a family focused approach to homework. We believe that spending quality family time is vital in the success of your student. We will provide family friendly, engaging homework activities and assignments. We would love if you would send us pictures of these activities and share them with us.

This weeks Family focus:

Play a board game with your family. This is a great way to work on thinking strategically and work on social skills of sharing, and being a good sport. Send a picture to your teacher of you playing a game with your family.

ELAR: We will discuss establishing a purpose for reading, asking relevant questions and answer questions using multi-word responses. Students will also discuss short and long vowel sounds and verbs.

Math:This week we are using place value to order whole numbers up to 1,200.
