She was never literally on fire, but she was sparking change in her environment.


Giving a non human thing a human characteristic.


"We have to stand for a few minutes in the doorway of the train while the cameras gobbled up our images then we're allowed inside and the doors lose mercifully behind us.


An exaderation.


"But the money ran out and we were slowly starve to death."


Reposition of constant sounds at the begining of words


"I noticed him, a boy with blond hair peering out from behind his mother's back.

~ "Loving him is like drivinga new Maserait down a dead end street..." She is comparing her love for him to driving down a dead end street.

~"Loving him is like trying to change your mind once you are already flying through the free fall. Like the colors in autumm so bright just before they lose it all." She is comparing loving him to changing your mind and the colors of autumm.

~"Jesus, take the wheel, take it from my hands, cus I can't do this on my own, oh I'm letting go so give me one more chance to save me from this road i'm on so Jesus take the wheel." She is saying Jesus take the whell, not litteraly grab the wheel, but guied her as she is on the road.
