Parent Book Study Update

Our book study is underway! We met last Monday and had such great discussion. It is not too late to join us. Email Dr. Means if you are interested. Some of our discussion focused on teens and social media. I have included an article for your reading pleasure below.

Arrival Procedure Changes

Please review changes made to our arrival procedures on the map below. The reason for this modification is to make our process more efficient and to keep traffic flowing on 87th Terrace.
    • Be aware of students walking in the drop off and pick up crosswalk.

    • Do not block crosswalks.

    • Do not block the street or prohibit traffic flow.

    • No left turn at the car rider entrance/exit. (See Map)

    • Cars may turn left at the bus entrance. (See Map)

    • Barry staff will be directing cars to move further around the corner in the car rider line toward the front door. Students will still enter and exit through the car rider door.

    • Be patient with each other as students are dropped off and picked up.

    • Safety is our number one priority.

Each month our community focuses on a specific character trait and students are recognized for exhibiting these traits: Self Confidence, Pride, Responsibility, Citizenship, Compassion, Individuality, Self Control, Integrity, Perseverance, Respect, Honesty, and Cooperation.
