Coyote Salutes
Foster Naylor
Mr. Naylor directs the Coyote Vision Productions crew. He can be seen at many of the Anna ISD events coaching his students on video production and allowing them to do the work and get experience that could impact them for their future opportunities in the AV production field. The Coyote Vision production team recently had their footage used by WFAA Channel 8 for High School Sports Special, and VYPE sports requested the video for their weekly state competition for play of the week.

Nominate your fellow employees for a Coyote Salute
WHAT IS A COYOTE SALUTE?
It's our monthly employee recognition program. A Coyote Salute is awarded to individual staff members and a Collaborative Coyote Salute is awarded to a group of staff members that have done something EXTRA special and beyond their normal job duties.
WHY:
We want to be intentional about honoring staff members that have gone the EXTRA mile for our students.
WHO:
Think of teachers using innovative teaching strategies or support staff members that go that extra mile to make our children feel safe and loved. This award is not limited to individual recipients. Collaboration encourages professional growth and student success. We would also like to honor teams of staff members who collectively worked on a positive project or had an amazing outcome to something that was important to our students.
HOW:
Any Anna ISD employee may nominate staff members that have gone above and beyond their specific job duties by filling out this form. From your nominations, a recognition committee will select the recipients for a Coyote Salute and the groups for a Collaborative Coyote Salute.
WHEN:
You may nominate staff anytime you see someone or a group that goes above and beyond their normal job duties. The nomination link is also located in the Staff Portal. Staff members that have been selected for a Coyote Salute or Collaborative Coyote Salute will be notified by Administration and recognized at an upcoming board meeting.

We Appreciate our Tech Crew
Anna ISD's technology department is made up of 10 IT professionals. The team manages all of the technology across 15 buildings including 1000 laptops and desktops, 500 iPads, and more than 4,000 Chromebooks. Director of Technology Jerod Rollins says he is most proud of purchasing and installing 140 Newline displays in classrooms during the 21-22 school year. Rollins makes it a point to sit down with each campus administrator to determine technology needs for their campus to best meet the needs of teachers and students. Goals for this year include finishing the Newline installation project across the district and beginning a district-wide WIFI update.

It's time to clean out your closet and drawers. Anna ISD is partnering with Trusted World to provide for those in need here in Anna and in surrounding areas. We are having a clothing drive October 24-28, which is also Red Ribbon Week. Each campus will have drop-off areas for donations. Trusted World will collect the donations, sort the items, and put them in their system to ensure they go to families needing them. Trusted World helps schools meet the needs of students in need and their entire families. For more information on how to help, log on to trustedworld.org.

"The staff on our services and operations teams are the best! Our food services do a great job day in and day out serving nutritious meals to our student body each day. Our maintenance, landscaping, and custodial teams keep our buildings clean, our yards looking nice, and are always quick to respond to any problems on our campuses. Our technology specialists are the best at keeping us connected so that instruction to our students and communications with our community is seamless and always flowing. Our police keep our schools safe and are always visible to our community. Finally, I am honored to serve with our transportation team/family who gets up early each day to ensure that our students get safely to school. We average 1500 miles on routes each day and I'm proud to say that they keep our students safe on all of those miles!"
