Third Grade Newsletter
What's going on next week...
Dear Parents,
Next Monday and Tuesday, our 3rd graders will be taking their first STAAR tests. They have been working so hard and we are so proud of them. They will ROCK that test! Just a few things to note:
- a snack is provided to each student on testing days
- we will be eating lunch in our classrooms on Monday and Tuesday. If you'd like to send a lunch with your child on those two days, please feel free to do so. If not, they will be provided a sack lunch from the cafeteria.
Please make sure you are checking expectation cards (located in your child's binder). They should be signed each Monday evening.
Homework will be sent home each Friday and it is due the following Friday. Reading Homework: NO homework. Math Homework: NO math homework. Math Log: NO math log. Science Homework: can be added on every given day, so please check planners daily.
Parents please keep in mind that we will continue to spiral back to previously taught math concepts. When reviewing math at home, continuously review all learned concepts.
Please remember if you have a change of transportation, to send and email to fe@katyisd.org. You may "cc" us so that we are informed too. Thank you!
