Gallatin High Update

Week of November 2-6, 2020

With Veterans Day coming up November 11th, we want to take a moment to thank those of you who have served in any branch of the military for your service. Veterans Day was founded in 1918 with the following words from President Woodrow Wilson.

"To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations…"

We also want to recognize the veterans we have on staff at Gallatin High. Matt Bakken-Industrial, Career and Technical Education teacher, Mark Bergo-Special Education teacher, and Chuck Proffitt-our lead custodian.
