This week we are giving a round of applause to our amazing 1st grade teachers! Mrs. Koch, Miss Braband, and Miss Eifler are all incredible teachers. They are constantly coming up with fun and exciting projects to enhance the learning of our 1st grade students. These three teachers are going above and beyond what is expected of them and are always making sure everyone in their classes feel loved, important, and respected. First grade is such a fun place here at Kolmar and it is all thanks to these fabulous teachers. Three heads are definitely better than one in this situation. They are always working together to share ideas and come up with the best ways to keep students engaged in their learning. They are not only great educators but they are great role models in how to work as a team and treat others with respect and kindness. Each of these teachers is also involved in a multitude of clubs and committees on top of their teacher duties, and Kolmar would not be the same without them. Keep up the amazing work, 1st grade teachers!

Please use caution around the campus while dropping students off in the morning and while picking them up in the afternoon. The snowbanks from the plows have narrowed the streets and sidewalks increasing congestion. Please be courteous to those behind you by pulling forward and continuing on as soon as possible. Also, please be extra careful as students are exiting and boarding the buses.

The vaccination clinic is open to any community member and all vaccination types (Pfizer, Moderna, J&J) will be available. This will include 1st dose, 2nd dose, and booster doses if applicable.

Family Conferences will be held on February 24 (5:00-8:00 p.m.) and February 25 (11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.). Parents will once again be able to schedule their conferences using Skyward Family Access.

This survey is designed to generate a detailed picture of the inner workings of your child’s school.
