May PTA Meeting Review & Party Info
Agenda Items
--We are still in need of a Treasurer for the 2019-20 school year.
We will also need committee chairs. We will post on social media and via email the open positions and their duties.
--Discussion about meeting times next year: It was suggested that we move PTA meetings to coincide with other school events to lessen the number of times parents need to schedule coming up to school. That may result in higher attendance and participation. We may to check by laws to ensure there isn't any problem with changing our meeting schedule.
--The minutes were read from the April meeting and approved
--Financial report: Income was $485.54 from school appear and fundraisers with Papa Johns and Chipotle. Expenses were $2134.68 spent on field trips, transportation costs, robotics, family events.
Committee Reports
--Class Parties: The spring party will occur the last day of school.
There will be 3 party station options:
1) inflatable in the gym
2) recess and games on the playground
3) snacks and sidewalk chalk outside
There will also be a sensory friendly alternative party at the same time in the music room.
