Tech You Have To Try

iorad

I have been looking for this all my life! Have you ever tried to describe to someone how to do something online, and wish there was an easy way to make a tutorial without having to take a bunch of screenshots and type up some directions? Let me introduce you to iorad. Makes creating tutorial videos by following your clicks, and your mouse. Think of all the useful ways you can use easy made tutorials in your classroom, for your students, for individuals who struggle with technology. Now you have a way to show them step by step that's easy and efficient. Learn more by clicking here.

Mybib

I struggled with citations in school. It was a difficult process to learn and it seemed to always change from one year or format to the next. I wish I had Mybib when I was in college or high school. Mybib is a chrome extension and website that will create citations automatically from the resource you have pulled up in chrome or from entering in the book/journal etc... information. APA 7, no problem, oh you want APA 6, or MLA 9, all with the click of a button. A game-changer for students who write papers, or dissertations. Sometimes things don't need to be difficult. Learn more by clicking here.

Webpaint

Webpaint is the perfect tool to add as a chrome extension for those who are cast or project their computer screen in person or virtually. Webpaint allows you to turn on the application within the webpage and write, draw, add images or shapes and even allows you to take a screenshot of what you create to save it. It's like having your very own smartboard. To learn more about Webpaint click here.

Taco Spin

TACOS?!? I saw this shared by someone else and I had to include it. I mean it's our Smore's namesake. Meet Taco Spin, the website we, who love tacos, can mindlessly and entertainingly watch, yes you guessed it, a taco spin! Music is even included by clicking in the bottom right corner. A running count of how many times the taco spins, and funny text that updates as you watch. It won't impact your students but sometimes we just need good, mindless fun/entertainment haha. To visit the amazing taco site, Taco Spin click here.
