Varicella Zoster Vaccine
Scientists have created a vaccine for the chicken pox virus. It is recommended that children 12 month of age and older that has not had the virus get one dose between 12 to 15 months of age and another dose between 4 to 6 years of age. Adults and adolescents who are not already immune to the virus need two doses at least 4 weeks apart.
