Student Recognition Night January 10th

Select students have been nominated by their teachers and coaches for distinct mid-year awards for their character, academics, sportsmanship and attendance. SMS strives to support student success all year long, therefore, we have two recognition nights a year, (January and May) to acknowledge student's hard work and dedication each step of the way throughout the year.

Students and parents received notification if their student is receiving an award, a letter on January 3rd and phone call was sent out this week as well. Please plan to attend on January 10 from 6:30-8pm. in our SMS auditorium to receive your award and recognition. We look forward to celebrating with our families, staff and students.

Arrival and Dismissal/Parking Lot Map

Our parking lot structure has provided a drop off and pick up procedure that allows for students to enter and exit safely and for traffic to flow efficiently.

Please follow the map below and support the plan. It is important that we continue to do this together for the safety for all students. Thank you.

Parent AM Drop Off

Students are not permitted into the main doors of our building until 7:40a.m. We have had students dropped off earlier and are wanting to wait inside due to current weather conditions. We do not have supervision for our students until the designated time, therefore, please wait in the drop off line (those doors open at 7:35). Thank you.

Food Deliveries at School

Parents:

Please eliminate bulk or group lunch treats and orders to our office for students during lunch time. If you have a need tod rop off a lunch for your student, that is fine, however, please do not purchase and send/drop off food/drink items for more than your student.
