MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS: Thursday, April 9
For our final edition of the morning announcements during Holy Week, we would like to highlight a couple of additional videos which will be provided today in addition to the morning announcements.
6th Grade: Last Supper
Each year our 6th grade students prepare and present a recreation of the Last Supper on the Thursday of Holy Week. In lieu of being able to do this in person, several of our 6th graders have prepared a "Last Supper: E-Learning Edition"! We are proud of the ingenuity and commitment to their faith and are excited to share their hard work with you. Please stay tuned to your email as this video will arrive in a separate email.
8th Grade: Stations of the Cross
One of our most beloved traditions at St. Luke is that the 8th grade recreates the Lord's Passion via their presentation of the Passion Play on Good Friday each year. In lieu of being able to come together to present the Passion Play in person this year, the 8th graders came together to draw the stations of the cross in chalk art along the sidewalk of St. Luke. There are two videos below, one is a video of the students and their families creating the chalk art, the second is a virtual walk through their stations showing you the art work they created to represent each station. We are very grateful to the 8th graders and their families for this creative display of faith, friendship and creativity!
