Love Never Gives Up
Elementary kids are learning "Love Never Gives Up" as we take a look at the book of Ruth.
A lot of us are familiar with the story of Ruth, the widowed daughter-in-law who vows to cling to Naomi. Ruth's decision to stay with Naomi was even bigger than we often realize because Ruth is a Moabite, and she's choosing to now follow the Lord, the God of the Israelites. God didn't give up on Ruth and used her relationship with her mother-in-law to draw her to Himself!
In the midst of Naomi's doubt & sorrow over losing her husband & her sons, God revealed Himself as faithful & compassionate. Ruth was able to see that despite their circumstances, God was still for them! Because Ruth knew that God didn't give up on them, she didn't give up on Naomi.
Showing visible love looks a lot like not giving up! In my life, it's looked a lot like having faith FOR other people no matter what their circumstances are.
Reflection
- Ask the Lord, what it looks like for you to show love by not giving up! Maybe it's your marriage, maybe it's an estranged relationship with family, maybe it's a friendship. Ask the Lord & respond to what He says. He might just want to use you to be a physical example to the Lord's love to someone else and a clear reminder that He doesn't give up on them!

Do You Have a Story to Share from Serving?
On Sunday we heard this story from a parent who's child moved up to their new KidSpring room!
"We picked Elsie up from her new room and she was SO excited! She said 'Can I come back to this class from now on?!' And has told us at least 5 times throughout the day how much she loved her new teachers! Yay!!!
We know there are so many stories that happen every single week, and we'd like to hear yours!
