Today, teams from Brownsburg East & West, Cascade, Plainfield, and Tri-West met at Brownsburg West Middle School for the first-ever Champions in the Middle county-wide track meet. It was filled with continual smiles, cheering, and more fist-bumps and high-fives per minute than I've experienced in some time! Everybody cheered for everybody!

Stay tuned for details on how to participate next year; we are meeting to make plans to provide training in the fall, and you can consider forming your team of staff and students now. The student ambassadors from each school did a wonderful job of helping the athletes report for their events, and the meet ran very smoothly, even ahead of schedule. There is more information on our website.

As mentioned in our spring newsletter, we have a Voxer chat group just for IMLEA. Voxer is a free walkie-talkie type app that utilizes audio, text, images, and video.(There is also a pro version, but it's not necessary.) It's a great way to communicate with others at a time that is convenient for you. It is more personal than just text, and isn't talking easier than typing? I have been in book studies using Voxer. Here are some explanatory resources:Once you have an account, you can join the IMLEA Voxer group here.
