Thesis Statement
Thesis statement: Citizens should be allowed to make laws by demonstrating fairness and impartiality.

In "Harrison Bergeron" and "The Lottery" both the stories had a bad government and the government made the citizens do things they didn’t want to. Harrison had to wear the handicap equipment. The villagers in the lottery didn’t wanna kill 1 person once a year.
Harrison Conflict
Harrison's conflict is that he is being chased by the government. Harrison did not want everyone to be handicap and wanted to overpower the government and finally got killed.
Rainsford Problem
Rainsford did not want to be killed or beat up by Ivy and also did not want to kill General Zarof.
