"Harrison Berguron" by Kurt Vonnegut and "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson
In "Harrison Bergeron" and "The Lottery" both the stories had a bad government and the government made the citizens do things they didn’t want to. Harrison had to wear the handicap equipment. The villagers in the lottery didn’t wanna kill 1 person once a year.
Harrison's conflict is that he is being chased by the government. Harrison did not want everyone to be handicap and wanted to overpower the government and finally got killed.
Rainsford did not want to be killed or beat up by Ivy and also did not want to kill General Zarof.
