Join our LDSD Cafe Reading Group!
Try a bit of Cafe Reading in your classroom!
Cafe Reading is a system that links literacy assessment data, goal-setting and reading instruction. The program consists of four major components: the teacher's conferring notebook, Whole Group lessons, Strategy Groups, and Individual Conferences. Please return to this Cafe Reading folder for updates and news as we continue on this journey. We are following The Cafe Book: Engaging All Students in Daily Literacy Assessment and Instruction by Gail Boushey and Joan Moser, Stenhouse, 2009. Please join us!
Write about your experiences in CAFE Reading in our blog!
Let's learn from each other and share our ideas, adaptations and successes. Go to the LDSD CAFE Reading blog to pose a question or discuss a process.
