Information from the Counseling Department:

Beginning September 26, 2016, school counselors will meet individually with seniors to discuss their graduation requirements and post-graduation plans.

The PSAT is scheduled for November 2, 2016. It is a requirement that all sophomores take this assessment. More information will be provided in sophomore English classes and a study guide will be given. The test fee for sophomores is funded by the division.

It is recommended that juniors take the PSAT as well even if they took it in their sophomore year. However, it is only the scores from the PSAT taken in the junior year that are considered for the National Merit Scholarship competition. The test fee for juniors is $20. Juniors who are eligible for free/reduced lunch can request a fee waiver.
