きんようび - Friday

Last Day of Japanese 1

Deadline to Submit Assignments is 11:59PM TONIGHT

End of Course Celebration Day!

みんなさん、おめでとうございます。

よくできましたみんあさん!Well done everyone! It's been quite a week and we've hit a few major milestones in class with the final Linguafolio project, EOC projects you submitted and the submission of the final exam. You all deserve recognition for your great work.

Remember when we started Japanese 1 back in August? Back then, most of you only knew a few words of the language and couldn't read or write much hiragana and katakana (if any.) Now you are writing and speaking about yourselves with ease in Japanese. ;)

I can't begin to tell all of you how happy it makes me to look at your work and see all the progress you have made. I am so proud of all of you for all of your accomplishments since the beginning of class. All of *YOU* are the reasons why I love my job so much! My students rock!! Thanks to all of you for being so awesome! Today I am celebrating all of you. Great work everyone!

Submit Overdue Work Today!

The deadline to submit work from Lessons 8 - 13 is TONIGHT at 11:59PM. I am sorry but due to the high volume of last minute submissions and the hard deadline to submit all final grades to your schools, any work submitted to me after tonight's deadline cannot be graded.

Any overdue work submitted at this point is subject to point deductions for lateness.

To view your missing assignments: Open the Japanese 1 course in BlackBoard and click on the My Grades tab (on the left hand navigational toolbar) and see if you have any assignments marked with a 0 or no submission. If you see any, make a note of what you're missing and make a plan to submit it prior to tonight's deadline.

If you need help with your assignments, contact me or visit the link to the peer tutoring center below.
