As a teacher, your job is to help and guide your students. Although cyber-bullying usually occurs outside of the classroom, the consequences almost always trickle into the classroom. Here are some tips that can help you in helping your students.
- Be a visible ally against cyber-bullying.
- Create a safe, trusting environment in which your students feel safe coming to you.
- Look for signs of cyber-bullying, such as being withdrawn or dropping grades.
- Get parents involved in watching what their child goes on on the computer.
