Rockbrook Reminder
One Last Little Bit of Info Before Summer Really Begins
THANK YOU
We also would like to thank the Rockbrook Community Club for their support this year and especially these past two days, as staff prepared to return and exchange materials. Providing meals for staff on these days helped to keep spirits high as we wrapped up the school year in a way different than we've ever done before.
STUDENT MATERIAL PICK UP / DROP OFF - FOLLOW UP DAY 5/19
Thank you to all the families that were able to come on Friday to pick up and drop off materials. It was great to see many of you and your children.
If you were unable to come on Friday we will have a follow up day for pick up and drop off on Tuesday, May 19th from 9:00-3:00. Procedures are a little different for this day, so please see below.
Procedures for Day of Drop-Off and Pick-Up of Materials
Enter at the north end of the building and park in the circle drive. Then give us a call at 402-390-6475 and we will bring your child's personal items to your vehicle and exchange for any school items.
As with Friday, we are encouraging families to have items in the trunk for exchange.
What Should Parents/Students Do to Get Ready for Drop-Off
All textbooks, library books, instruments, other items that are the property of the school will need to be returned. Work that was completed at home during eLearning does NOT need to be returned. Please put all materials into a grocery sack or bag. On the front of the bag, label in large print: Child’s First/Last Name, Teacher and Grade Level
iPads
Westside Community Schools will continue to have access to many learning services through the month of June that are accessible on the iPad for student learning. If you do not wish to continue access through the month of June or are not returning to Westside Community Schools, please return the iPad, lightning cable, and charger at this time. For those keeping the iPad, we currently plan to have an iPad Collection Day on June 26th.
Medication
If you need to pick up medication, your child’s bag will be marked. We will need you to initial the form that you have received the medication.
Information to Keep this Day Safe and Healthy
If you or someone in your home is in quarantine or has Covid-19, please do not visit school. We will find an alternate day, time or way for you to receive your materials.
We appreciate your support and adherence to our procedures. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Garret Higginbotham, Principal
