Mrs. Koplin's 4K News

News for the week of September 28th

Apple Theme

We had so much apple fun last week we are going to continue it into next week! I hope your child is able to play the fun "Where's the Worm?" math game with someone at home this weekend. We will be making more apple art projects this week. This Thursday we will do a class cooking project where we make applesauce for our snack! If possible please send in one apple by Tuesday. Check out the video below for a fun apple song using the book Ten Apples Up on Top!

Jolly Phonics

Our Jolly Phonics letter of the week is "E". The action for the letter "E" sound is to pretend to tap an egg on the side of a pan and crack it into the pan, saying eh, eh, eh. See video below for the Jolly Phonics "E" song!

"Koplin Kourier"

Starting this coming Monday I will be sending home a daily correspondence called the "Koplin Kourier". The "Kourier" will have the different parts of our 4K day and a brief description of what we did during that part of our day. At the bottom it will have reminders of important upcoming dates and 4K information. Some kids struggle with telling parents what they did at school. This can give parents a chance to ask about specific parts of our day. Please let me know if you have any questions about the "Koplin Kourier".
