Meet the Community Family Learning Center Coordinator and Community Liaison
CFLC Coordinator, Educator, & Resource Librarian
Miss Paula has worked for Torrington Public Schools since 2011 as an educator, coordinator, family liaison, and librarian for the Community Family Learning Center located at KidsPlay Children's Museum. Paula loves to read and loves to help families find books and resources that will be helpful to them. Prior to working for TPS, Paula was a K & 1 classroom teacher and Literacy Specialist. Currently Paula works with incoming kindergarten children and families for Torrington Public Schools by connecting families to the schools and community providers. She supports the kindergarten registration process by coordinating programs such as the Kindergarten Fair, Meet & Greet at KidsPlay and more! In her free time, Miss Paula loves to hike, swim, and also loves to travel with her family. Please feel free to contact Miss Paula with any questions or for educational support.

Meet the Community Family Learning Center Parent Educator
Miss Jenny has worked for Torrington Public Schools since 2011 as a parent educator and family liaison. Jenny works with parents and children in the Even Start program, an ESL adult and parenting program, which meets at KidsPlay weekly. Jenny also works with the bilingual population and translates for Spanish speaking families in the district. Jenny went to NVCC for her associate degree in Human services and has a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from University of Saint Joseph. Jenny loves to read and listening to music in her free time. Jenny enjoys spending time with her family. Please feel free to contact Miss Jenny with any questions or for educational support.
