Tupac Shakur was one of the most dynamic, influential and self distructive pop stars of the Nineties. Shakur was the son of black party members Billy Garland and Afeni Shakur who was in jail for bomb charges while pregnant with him. Tupac spent his earliest years in the Bronx and Harlem at the age of 13 made his acting debut. He spent the rest of his childhood moving around the country with his mother. He attended the Baltimore School Of The Arts before dropping out and settling at the age of 17, in Marin County, California, 2pac became quite a sensation, earning praise for his musical and acting talent as well. In 1991, Tupac emerged solo artist using the name 2Pac with his debut album. The went platinum selling more the a million copies.
