What is happening at KNMS?

8th Grade Parent Night

Tuesday, Feb. 2nd, 6:30pm

KNMS Cafeteria

This event is for 8th grade students and their parents! Ray Maxwell (KNHS 9th Grade Counselor) and Heather Wallace (KNMS 8th Grade Counselor) will be providing important and beneficial information for rising freshman, including the discussion of courses being offered at KNHS next school year! They will be answering your questions and hope to make your rising high school student more prepared for this exciting new chapter of their lives!

7th & 8th Grade Students that have no F's (no later than February 17th) are invited to join their friends for a night of dancing and socializing!

Deployment Counseling Group

Mrs. Wallace and Miss Cox are starting up a new counseling group that will focus on helping students with parent(s) on deployment develop coping skills during their parent's absence. If you feel your child would benefit from participating in this group, please contact Heather Wallace (email: or have your child speak with their counselor to obtain a permission slip!

5th & 6th Grade Fun Night

Friday, Feb. 26th, 6-8pm

KNMS Cafeteria/Gym

5th & 6th Grade students that have no F's (no later than February 24th) are invited to join their friends for a fun-filled Fun Night! There will be games & music, along with the gym and concession stands being open!

Katy on the Go - School Based Dental Program

Monday, Feb. 29th, 8am


This mobile dental clinic program will provide your child an opportunity to receive dental services at school during normal school hours. They offer comprehensive dental care: oral cleanings, X-Rays, examinations, fillings, some crowns and extractions.
