Arts Umbrella Opportunity
Please see information from Arts Umbrella for next year!
Please let me know if you are interested.....
Thanks,
Phil
Arts Umbrella is once again offering free one day workshops for single classes at their South Surrey location throughout 2019-2020. These spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. We are wondering if you would have a class interested in attending next school year? For now we would just ask you to book and hold a date and give us your best guess on grade level and teacher name. We will then confirm final details come September once your enrolment and class arrangements are final.
There is no cost to the program, however, the class must look after getting to Arts Umbrella on their own, no bussing or funding is provided for transportation. The address is Arts Umbrella, South Surrey, N116, 15850 26 Ave.
An overview of the program and its components and requirements is below as well as a list of dates. If your school is interested in booking a date, can you please let me know by indicating your date of choice, ideal grade level and likely teacher?
Thanks so much!

Stewardship Opportunities
Hello,
We met with a handful of your school’s teachers last week to explore stewardship opportunities in Chantrell Creek Park. We talked a little bit about the beaver activity in the creek and I wanted follow up and share an awesome resource that came across my desk today.
I know that the school year is wrapping up and that there isn’t much time left to explore the beaver’s activity but if you could pass this along to those teachers who were keen to get outside, they can always keep it in mind for next year. There’s some other great stuff on this website aside from beavers too.

If you can make sure to get the email to Sian Osborne, Michelle deJager, Lindsey Scott, LeeAnn Heinrichs, Katherine Drew, Sandra Fletcher and Chelsey Harding, that would be great!
Thanks so much.
