- Report Cards: Guess what? It's for real real this week! It's report card week! Please continue to work with your department. Report cards are due Thur 4pm. They will be printed for you on Fri.
Summer Session: Summer session for incoming 7th & 8th will have an informational meeting Wed 7pm (after Leadership Day) in Ms. Snelling's room. Summer session is also happening for incoming 9th, it will look similar to MS summer session. MS summer session run 6/12-6/30 and is by invite only.
Honor Roll: Honor roll is 5/31 - this is an all Advisory, no enrichment afternoon. Please refer to the outlook notice for additional details. This is a student and staff only event. After school is a student honor roll celebration in the GYM for all students who are on honor roll. A parent notification email will be shared to Advisors to send home to parents of students who are on honor roll.

Parent Surveys: Parents! Please take a moment to participate in two different surveys! We value your feedback and they both are incredibly important to reflection on our practices! The Leader In Me survey responses help us monitor our growth and reflection on the implementation of The Leader In Me and the Survey Monkey survey helps us gather information on NP3 specific practices. Parent Volunteers: The Pirates are looking for amazing parents to help with college fair! Volunteering includes: Fri 5/26 1:15pm-3:00pm to help judge college fair projects! Come enjoy the 8th graders projects! If interested, please contact Ashley at asilas@natomasunified.org
Bussing Last 2 Days of School: The middle school has a special bus schedule the last 2 days of school. Thu 6/1 after school buses will be at 12:15 and 4:15. Fri 6/2 after school bus will only be 12:15.
DC/NYC Trip 2018: 7th Grade Parents DC/NYC enrollment is ongoing through 6/2! We are 16 people away from adding a 2nd bus, which is super exciting! Enrolling early will guarantee your child's spot on this amazing trip and provide you more opportunities to participate in fundraising as an effort to offset costs! Enrollment instructions are attached. Additionally, we will have an informational/enrollment booth set up at Leadership Day Wed 5/17. DC Trip Fundraiser:The 2018 East Coast trip is selling tickets to the 5/20 SacRepublic Game. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased from a traveler or online at https://groupmatics.events/event/Natomaspacific0 Proceeds go directly to students. All in person ticket sales must be to Ms. Clark by May 17th at 3pm. Tickets will be sent home with students Friday May 19th.
Pizza Sales Continue: To help raise money for 6th grade- 5/25 after school in the quad.
College Fair: 8th grade College Fair is 5/26! Get excited for our 8th graders!
College Swag Day: In support of 8th grade college fair we would like all staff and student to wear college gear on 5/26.
Honor Roll Student Celebration: Students who are on honor roll will be invited to a celebration after school on 5/31. This student celebration will involve music, snacks and more. If your student is invited please plan to pick them up at 4pm or they can take the 4:15 bus.
End Of Year Activity Day: 6th and 7th grade students are participating in an end of the year celebration at Westlake Park on 6/1-please make sure your student gets their permission form in.
8th Field Trip: 8th graders are going Bowling on 6/1 for their end of the year celebration. Please make sure you get their permission form in.
Dismissal times: On the last two days of school-June 1 & 2 students will get out at 11:55.
8th Grade Promotion: Save the date! The ceremony begins promptly at 9am. Students must be at school on time and can leave with their families after promotion is over.
May is BIKE MONTH: Please encourage your kiddos to ride their bikes to school and in their free time. Students will be able to log their trips each week on 5/22 riders can get fruit and pastries in the morning. On 5/26 riders can get popsicles after school.
