11th Grade Students - Green Mountain Boy's State
Green Mountain Boys' State (GMBS) is sponsored by the American Legion of Vermont. The program will be held at Norwich University from Sunday, June 25th-Friday, June 30th. Each school across the state has a predetermined designated number of delegate slots available. Your school has 3 slots that would be endorsed and paid for by your local American Legion Post. You do not need to have a family member who is currently a member to apply. Simply put, if you're interested in working with other rising seniors across the Green Mountain State and to develop some leadership skills, this is for you. If you're interested in attending post high school education, military or the workplace, this is for you. If you are interested in scholarship money to assist you in your future decisions, this is for you. If you are looking to hear from leaders across the state on how you too can become a stronger leader, this is for you.
If you'd like to attend, please complete this form. There will be follow up conversations between GMBS and your school staff prior to making selections. GMBS will promptly follow up with you with additional information once you are accepted.
DEADLINE: Applications must be received no later than May 15th.
