Jeffco Remote Learning Program
Back to School Edition
Welcome!
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. My name is Kala Munguia and I am the new interim principal for JRLP this school year. I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and I look forward to working with you and your children.
At the start of each school year we get to know students in a variety of ways. Many of these
activities include community and relationship building while others are focused on academics. One way we get a baseline on student academics and a knowledge of where to individually support each student is through assessments. You will be hearing more from teachers soon, but we wanted to let you know that each assessment is of great value to your teacher(s) and your student(s). The assessments provide invaluable data and action steps for teachers when working with their students. If you want to know more specifics around an assessment your child is doing, please reach out to their teacher or any JRLP administrator. Thank you in advance for this partnership! The assessment calendars for the 2022-23 school year be found here K-5 and 6-12
This year, in order to further build an exceptional student experience, we are planning monthly in person days with students. These are optional, and a remote option will also be available. The first of these will be to kick off the school year and provide space for registration, orientation, material pick up and more. Please see the schedule below for dates, times ,and locations of these back to school events. As for the monthly in person opportunities, those dates will be communicated soon; once we have a firm calendar.
All signs point to another incredible and productive school year. Our skilled and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for your child(ren). We are indeed a joyous and caring community with the common goals of nurturing responsible, caring students and promoting high-level learning. See you all on August 16th!
2022-2023 Annual Online Registration
Annual online registration is open for the new school year! Registration is open now through Wednesday, August 31. This is our first year using the Infinite Campus Parent Portal for the annual online registration. We use this tool to make sure we have accurate contact information for our families. Please take a few minutes to update this information and also complete the necessary annual agreements. For help with this process please see these helpful instructions as well as helpful back-to-school information.
